Oneida T351045AL20 Editorial Review
The Oneida Icarus 45-Piece Flatware Set has garnered a mixed reception from customers, revealing a divide between those who appreciate its elegant design and high-quality Construction, and others who have concerns regarding its size and weight. On one hand, many reviewers highlight the set's timeless sophistication, noting that it elevates dining experiences, making it suitable for both everyday meals and special occasions. The ergonomic design is praised for its comfort and usability, allowing for easy handling whether cutting through meat or stirring coffee. Additionally, customers appreciate the comprehensive service for 8 and the durability of the stainless steel material, which exhibits resistance to rust and corrosion, as well as dishwasher compatibility for easy maintenance. Conversely, some customers express dissatisfaction with the noticeable differences in size and design compared to older models of the Icarus set. Critics note that the utensils feel chunkier and oversized, which might not have been a problem if they were not trying to match a previous set. Concerns about the flatware not wearing well over time have also been raised, with a few reviewers indicating an overall decline in quality despite limited use. There are mixed feelings about the soup spoons, with some finding them excessively large. Additionally, occurrences of unsightly water spots have been reported after dishwashing. In summary, while the Oneida Icarus 45-Piece Flatware Set is celebrated for its elegance, comfort, and durability, some customers are less satisfied with its size and perceived long-term quality. **
