Fender Acoustic Steel-String Guitars 970110022 Editorial Review
The Fender CD-60S Dreadnought is garnering positive attention from customers across various skill levels, making it a compelling choice for those seeking an affordable yet quality acoustic guitar. Many users have noted its impressive sound quality, likening it to much pricier models, which enhances its appeal as a budget-friendly instrument. Players appreciate the bright tone and excellent sustain that this guitar offers. With its C-shaped neck, it feels comfortable to play, though some users have noted a slight adjustment period transitioning from different neck profiles. This does not seem to hinder overall satisfaction; instead, it underscores the guitar's versatility and playability. Reviewers highlight the build quality and action as standout features, particularly praising how accessible it is for both beginners and seasoned players alike. The action is generally Considered low and comfortable, although some experienced players, especially those with physical limitations, mentioned it could feel a bit high in higher register play. This concern is largely subjective and dependent on string choice, which some are willing to customize for optimal comfort. Several users also appreciate the inclusion of strap buttons for added convenience when playing. It is worth noting, however, that one minor criticism mentioned is the pick-guard being perceived as more of a sticker, though this has not heavily impacted overall satisfaction. In summary, the Fender CD-60S is recognized for its impressive sound quality, solid build, and ease of play, making it an excellent value for the price. Its advantages far outweigh its minor shortcomings, making it a solid investment for both new and experienced guitarists. **
