The VITCAS Heat Resistant Filler is a ready mixed material designed for heavy duty use. It is specifically meant for joints in cement boards and decorative repairs. With a high temperature resistance of up to +1000°C, this filler is suitable for various heat-related applications. One of the notable features of this product is its ability to be painted over. However, sanding is recommended before painting to ensure a smooth finish. The filler dries to a mid grey color, which may be suitable for certain applications. Feedback from customers has been mixed. Some users found the product to be thick and difficult to work with. Instead of using the supplied nozzle, they opted to apply the filler with a putty knife. Others were disappointed with the performance of the filler, stating that it did not offer any advantages over standard cement and found it to be expensive for what it is.
