Drama Editorial Review

The Key (1983) is a remarkable drama by Tinto Brass featuring brilliant performances, particularly from Stephania Sandrelli. The film, presented in a stunning Blu-ray format, captivates with its portrayal of Venice's enchanting prewar setting, painting a nostalgic picture through beautifully lit architectures and magical grand canals. The runtime of 110 minutes allows for a deep dive into its complex themes surrounding marriage and fascism. While some viewers note the peculiar dubbing choices and lack of subtitles, which can hinder fully understanding the film, many still highly recommend this piece of erotic artistry for its unique storytelling and direction.
