Respuesta: I do not do needlepoint but I do not see why not. Seems like it should work great since it is an embroidery hoop. Great product. Very sturdy. -

I want to use this for rug punch with monks cloth, will this hoop hold it tight?
Respuesta: I’ve never used it for that application but I’m pretty confident in saying this hoop will hold your cloth as tight, probably tighter, than any other hoop I’ve ever used. My concern would be if the monk cloth is so thick that it would skew the fit of the tongue/groove feature this Morgan hoop provides. Wish I could be more definitive but I’ve never used monk cloth. (Pretty sure canvas, burlap, home dec weight fabric or denim would snug up tightly if any of those are an option for your project.) -
