SALA MÜZIK ALETLERI Sitars NS-207 Editorial Review

The Setar by Sala Muzik is a great value instrument for those interested in exploring Persian music. The craftsmanship seems to be of good quality with a beautiful bowl and no major flaws noted. The tuning pegs work nicely and hold their tuning. The tone is soft and delicate, as expected from a Setar. However, some reviewers have noted weaknesses in the design of the instrument. The frets are made of strong fiber strands but are not secured in such a way that they cannot be moved. This may cause issues with chord Consistency. Additionally, the hard case that comes with the instrument has design problems and may not securely immobilize the instrument, causing damage to the strings and pegs. Overall, the Setar by Sala Muzik is a good option for those on a budget who want to explore Persian music.
