About This Item
Introducing the DAS Event 26a Line Array Speaker – a sleek and powerful audio system designed by DAS engineers to deliver stunning performance and exceptional ease-of-use. This ultra-compact two-way powered line array will have your audiences in awe with its symmetrical V shaped configuration of the cone transducers that provides consistent 100o of horizontal coverage down to 200 Hz. The M-60 compression driver is coupled to an advanced waveguide design that provides control of the vertical dispersion as well as precise coupling between units when used in vertical arrays. The EVENT-26A boasts a rugged yet lightweight polymer cabinet that offers a highly portable and road-worthy system.
It is powered by a two-channel Class D amplifier providing 800 Wpeak power and features a comprehensive range of accessories that make it ideal for small to mid-size rental and installation applications. The amp's rear panel includes quality Neutrik XLR and powerCON connectors for easy connectivity. But what sets the DAS 26a apart is its onboard DSP featuring a 24-bit high-end processor that handles X-over, EQ, delay, and limiter functions. The powerful FIR filtering technology incorporated in the EVENT-26A offers constant phase response which translates to transparent sound and exceptional clarity, improving the listening experience.
Deploying the EVENT-26A array is a breeze thanks to the innovative FSSTM (Fast Set Splay) rigging system developed to permit angle selection while stacked on dollies. The stainless-steel rigging hardware allows flown arrays of up to 16 units in 1o steps from 0o to 10o. Low-frequency reinforcement for the EVENT-26A is provided by its flyable companion subwoofer the EVENT-115A. If you're looking for a professional and leading speaker for your event, look no further than the DAS Event 26a Line Array Speaker.

D.A.S. PA Systems EVENT-26A Editorial Review
The DAS Event 26a Line Array Speaker is a top-notch product that boasts high-quality sound and versatility. Customers have praised its robustness and portability, while the set-up process is said to be quick and easy. One reviewer noted that the sound was "crystal clear" and that the speaker could handle large crowds without distortion or feedback. Others appreciated the built-in EQ, which allowed them to fine-tune the sound to match their venue. Despite the generally positive reviews, there were a few minor criticisms. Some found the weight of the speakers to be somewhat heavy, which could be a minor issue for those transporting them regularly. Overall, the DAS Event 26a Line Array Speaker is a reliable and high-quality choice for those in need of a reliable speaker system.
