Lightray Accessories Editorial Review
The customer experience regarding this product, a light meter that integrates with the Photone app for smartphones, is predominantly positive. Users have found it to significantly improve the way they measure light reaching their plants. Transitioning from traditional methods, such as LUX measurements, to PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) has proven to be a game changer for many reviewers. The device is described as easy to use; it conveniently clips onto the phone's camera lens, allowing for straightforward measurements without the hassle of makeshift solutions like paper diffusers. Users appreciate that it accurately measures light intensity across different canopy heights, making it a practical tool for both amateur and more experienced plant caregivers who want to ensure their plants receive the appropriate amount of light without excess. However, there are a few noted drawbacks. Some users perceive it as a gimmick, suggesting that the phone's camera sensor alone can suffice for some basic measurements. Additionally, a couple of reviewers mentioned that the fit of the device could be improved. Despite these critiques, the general sentiment is that the product is great value for its price, easy to use, and provides satisfactory results, particularly for those who may be working within a budget. ###
