- Our exclusive Enso Hachi series features a superbly finished traditional octagonal handle made of two-tone colored pakkawood with a black pakkawood ferrule. The blade of this Enso Hachi Bunka Knife is crafted of SG2 powder stainless steel for the ultimate in edge retention and sharpenability. The blades feature a rustic and beautiful black (kurouchi) hammered (tsuchime) finish. Then, when the edge is ground down to an acute 12 degree double bevel angle, the matte finish blade road is met to a highly polished edge, giving this knife a very impressive appearance that combines a rustic feel with refined cutting performance. These blades are thin and well balanced for a lightweight and smooth cutting feel. As always, and the Enso Hachi series is no exception, these knives are handcrafted in Japan by expert artisans. As with all high quality kitchen knives, these knives should be washed and dried by hand. All Enso knives come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Made in Seki, Japan.
