ART HEADAMP6PRO Editorial Review
The Art HeadAmp 6 Pro is highlighted as a well-designed and versatile six channel headphone amplifier with a range of features, making it a great choice for a small studio or personal use. It has an excellent input volume range and the volume available on the amplifier is more than enough for solo recordings and even drum tracking. There is a front blend knob that balances the volume for the musician recording and enables the user to hear their own instrument while recording, making it perfect for producing professional and rhythmically confident performances. The sound quality is good, there's plenty of bass, punch and high-end clarity, and the mix definition is high. The fact that it has rear Aux inputs on the amplifier preserves the life span of cables when indirectly hit or touched because they are not directly accessible. Additionally, the front face can be used without clutter from cables affecting the knob control. The review is relatively positive, with customers enjoying the flexibility of being able to submix individual aux sends while also praising the EQ adjustments for headphones based on the user's listening environment. However, the review did mention that the last channel has a bit of noise, the gain structure and headroom are very low, and that there are cheaper models available.
