The drill press is well-received by customers who have used it for several months. Most customers appreciate its versatility and durability. It is also easy to adjust the dual belt transmission with several speed and torque options. It is highly recommended for production drilling of small and large holes in domestic and tropical hardwoods. However, the drill press has some limitations. The vertical travel is too short for some applications, and cranking the head up and down is not practical for production runs of hundreds to thousands of holes. The dual belt transmission feels a bit lightweight for a 1 hp drill, but this could be evaluated more over time and usage.
