- Sensiv Multi-Channel TENS Unit 1 X 2-1/2 X 5 Inch SENTENSM Try Sensiv Multi-Channel TENS to alleviate muscle pain and increase circulation. There are two hypotheses explaining how TENS works. One hypothesis is that the electric current stimulates nerve cells that block the transmission of pain signals, modifying perception of pain. The other hypothesis is that nerve stimulation raises the level of endorphins, which are the body's natural pain-killing chemical.
