Proper installation allows for seamless operation of the timer switch, enabling automation of connected devices without any hassle.

What kind of display does the TM 163 feature?

The TM 163 comes equipped with a clear digital display that simplifies viewing and programming. It provides real-time information about the current time, programmed schedules, and operational status, enhancing user experience. This visibility ensures that users can quickly adjust settings as necessary or troubleshoot issues. For example, if a user needs to modify the timer for unplanned overtime in a factory, they can easily access the interface and make changes on the fly.

Does the TM 163 have a backup battery feature?

The TM 163 is designed with a backup battery feature that ensures retention of programmed schedules in the event of a power outage. This means users do not need to reprogram the timer every time there is a power interruption, thus maintaining their automation schedules. This feature is especially beneficial in environments with unstable power supply, ensuring continuous control over connected devices without manual intervention post-outage.

What safety features are included in the TM 163?

The TM 163 is built with several safety features like overload protection, ensuring that connected devices are not subject to harmful voltage fluctuations. Additionally, it includes a circuit breaker that activates in case of short circuits, safeguarding both the timer and connected equipment. This makes the TM 163 particularly suitable for commercial use, where safety and reliability are paramount in maintaining uninterrupted operations and protecting investments in electrical equipment.

What are the benefits of using a smart timer switch like the TM 163?

Using a smart timer switch like the TM 163 offers numerous benefits, including enhanced energy efficiency, automation of schedules, and control over device operation. Users can significantly reduce energy costs by programming devices to operate during off-peak hours or when they are needed, minimizing waste.
