Respuesta: Go with 12 foot minimum. Better to have too much than too little! -

What is the rated break load of the straps?
Respuesta: The max recommended weight for the straps is 800 lbs, however, standard 1 inch Polyester Webbing alone has a break strength of around 3000 pounds, but the cam buckles are rated at only 800 lbs. -

Are the other ends of the strap(non-buckle end) sealed to prevent fraying?
Respuesta: Yes they are and they are also cut on a diagonal so it’s easy to thread through the buckle. I think these are great straps and a very good price. I have use them on both my KAYAK and SUP.
