Cable Matters Cat 6 Cables Editorial Review
**** The Cable Matters UL Listed 10Gbps 12-Pack RJ45 Shielded Cat6A / Cat6 Keystone Jack has garnered a positive reception among users, highlighted by its thoughtful design and reliable performance. Reviewers praise the design, specifically the layout that facilitates easy and accurate wire termination. The ability to lay wires across the jack instead of having to deal with a cap is a significant advantage, providing a more secure and efficient connection. Users also appreciate the inclusion of guides that assist in managing wire organization, enhancing installation ease while reducing the risk of mistakes during setup. Quality-wise, many users found these jacks to be a notable improvement over cheaper alternatives. Although some reviewers noted that the metal could be thicker and recommended sturdier mechanisms, the overall craftsmanship was lauded. The jacks fit RJ45 plugs seamlessly, which distinguishes them from lower-quality counterparts. In terms of value, the keystone jacks are competitively priced, significantly lower than equivalent products from major brands without sacrificing performance. Users have reported that these jacks work excellently with various configurations, including both unshielded and shielded CAT6A cables, making them versatile for different setups. While some issues were reported regarding the difficulty of closing the jack after the wires were prepared for punching down, most users found a workaround using pliers or similar tools, indicating a moderate learning curve rather than a critical flaw. Overall, Cable Matters has established a strong reputation among professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. Their keystone jacks are described as reliable, efficient, and excellent value for money, perfect for both residential and professional wiring projects. **
