Stevie Nicks (Artist) Format: Audio CD Rock OQUNHL-YWCA-00 Editorial Review
The Complete Studio Albums & Rarities box set by Stevie Nicks has received mixed reviews from customers. One common complaint is the packaging of the box set. Customers have mentioned that it would have been better if it was in a clamshell style box instead of the current design, as it doesn't fit well on shelves and seems poorly organized inside. However, other customers appreciate the format of the CDs, which are packaged as individual records. In terms of the music itself, customers have mentioned that they love that all the albums are newly remastered. However, it is noted that the quality of Nicks' solo work seems to decrease with each album in chronological order. Customers also appreciate the band's performances but mention that Nicks doesn't always let them shine. The inclusion of rarities in the box set has received mixed feedback. Some customers feel that the rarities disc doesn't offer many truly rare tracks, as most of them were already available in previous releases. Others express disappointment with the sound quality being inConsistent across the albums, with some remasters not meeting expectations. Despite these criticisms, many customers still enjoy having all of Nicks' albums in one box set. They appreciate the mini-replicas of the albums, which come with gatefold CDs, lyric inserts, and original album layouts. However, some customers wish there were more rare tracks and additional content like photos and a booklet included. Overall, the Complete Studio Albums & Rarities box set offers a convenient collection of Stevie Nicks' solo work, but the packaging and inclusion of rarities may not meet all customers' expectations.
