Revisión editorial

The Nickerson, Spencer, and Steenrod "Advanced Calculus" textbook is described as an ambitious and challenging read that covers a diverse range of advanced mathematical concepts such as linear algebra, differential equations, vector calculus, topology, differential geometry, and algebraic topology. However, the review criticizes the minimal exposition and lack of motivation and background given for the abstract definitions. The formatting is also described as difficult to read due to the text's typewriter font and placement of subscripts. Additionally, the Kindle version has a large number of errors in transcription that can make it challenging for someone not familiar with the material. However, despite its flaws, the Nickerson, Spencer, and Steenrod "Advanced Calculus" textbook is revered as an important part of mathematical pedagogy and is a must-have for mathematicians and math enthusiasts.
