The Sony Walkman NW-A105 is a portable music player that is perfect for those who want to connect to an older sound system without Bluetooth. It supports storage upgrade through inserting a microSD card allowing for large SD storage capacity, and charges via a USB-C type cable. It also supports Hi-Res music streaming and displays album art (although not for all MP3's) for a high-quality listening experience. However, the battery life has limited playtime per third-party reviews and takes long to charge. The Android operating system takes a long time to boot up, and the player comes with many apps and files that have nothing to do with playing music. The Walkman only charges while the vehicle is on and in operation, leading to continual, though silent, playing and a quickly dissipating battery. The battery life not withstanding, this is an excellent unit.
