Can Kilz Original Primer be used on exterior surfaces?

Kilz Original Primer is suited for both interior and exterior applications, making it a great choice for projects needing a durable seal. Is Kilz Original Primer low odor?

Kilz Original Primer is designed to have low odor properties, making it suitable for indoor use without overwhelming fumes. What is the coverage area of Kilz Original Primer?

A 13oz can of Kilz Original Primer typically covers an area of about 75-100 square feet, depending on the surface porosity and texture. Yes, Kilz Original Primer is compatible with both oil-based and latex paints, providing flexibility for your final coat choice. This compatibility ensures you can achieve the desired finish, whether matte, gloss, or satin. For instance, if you've decided on a vibrant latex paint for your bathroom, applying this primer first guarantees a uniform and striking appearance with enhanced durability.

Is Kilz Original Primer suitable for blocking odors?

Indeed, Kilz Original Primer is effective at blocking unpleasant odors from substances like smoke and mildew. Its unique formula seals in odors, allowing only fresh paint scent in your space. What is the best way to apply Kilz Original Primer?

Kilz Original Primer can be applied using a brush, roller, or sprayer for optimal coverage and finish. For best results, it is advisable to use a high-quality brush or roller that suits your surface type.
