Respuesta: No, peep mirrors will not fit a VW beetle due to the channel on the door edge being too thick for the peep mirror clamp to fit over. -

Respuesta: No, this is a flat mirror. The cvx will not be in stock until 10/15. Try back then. -

Can the mounting base be turned 90 degrees?
Respuesta: I put these on my 78 Bronco and after I got back and looked at them--I took them off. Because they are slanted due to the shape of the door, you can't adjust them to be pointed straight down. I replaced them with a 66 car mirror and it looks a lot better. If you lived close by, I'd give you these for free.

The United Pacific C5001 mirror is an affordable option for those in need of a side mirror for their vintage automobile. The mirror clamps onto the door frame and has a flat surface. However, it is not suitable for VW Beetles due to the thickness of the door edge. The mounting base cannot be turned 90 degrees, and it adjusts automatically because of the slanted shape of the door. Although the mirror is of good quality, it reflects poorly on quality control that the taps for the mounting screw threads weren't clean. The mirror does have limited jaw width and requires some modification.
