Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate is a red glue-ish resin that is used to prevent machines screws from loosening due to vibrations. The threadlocker is suitable for firearms, woodworking, and metal-to-plastic applications. The product is based on acrylic resin methyl ethyl ketone, making it non-soluble in water and many solvents, and can even be applied under saltwater. Cleaning up can be done by peeling or picking it off, or using a small wire brush for hard-to-reach threads.
