OnStage Clips MY700 Editorial Review
The On-Stage MY700 Deluxe Stereo Microphone Bar is a versatile microphone bar that can hold up to 7 microphones, including the middle position. The two wings can be removed to make it hold 4 microphones, but it's worth noting that the wings don't lock tightly and may need to be permanently affixed with glue. The bar can be screwed onto a regular mic stand and is suitable for holding regular handheld microphones or wireless microphone paddles. However, if used for 4 backup singers, the mics would be very close together. The spacing between the two outside microphone knobs is approximately 3-4 inches. It can accommodate shotgun microphones of various sizes, with brands like Rode and Sennheiser fitting fine. The length of the bar is 40cm. Overall, the On-Stage MY700 Deluxe Stereo Microphone Bar offers flexibility in microphone placement but may have some issues with the stability of the swinging ends.
