The MORryde STP214-121H Handrail is a great addition to ensure safety and support while entering or exiting an RV. With an overall height of 38", it provides a comfortable grip and fold ups with the steps without much interference, provided you have 33" clearance from the inside of the doorway. However, there is a removable version coming soon for those who don't have enough clearance. It is sturdy and durable and has helped prevent falls. Some users have faced issues with fitting the handrail when the stairs are folded up completely or when there is not enough clearance. Also, the area of the steps where the rail attaches is not reinforced, causing some flex to the step riser wall if leaned on. There is some side to side movement with the handrail, but it is bolted tightly. Although it may not be suitable for all RV layouts, it is a reliable safety net for those who need it.
