Dorman Four Wheel Drive Editorial Review
The Dorman 901-154 Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch has garnered a largely positive reception from customers who have purchased it for various Chevrolet pickup models, particularly from the late '90s. Users appreciate the direct fit of the switch in their vehicles, citing the ease of installation as a significant advantage, with many reporting that the replacement only took a matter of minutes. This switch effectively resolves common issues like intermittent operation or complete failure of the 4WD function, bringing peace of mind to drivers who rely on their vehicles for all-terrain capabilities. Customers have also highlighted the enhanced illumination of the switch, noting that the new light allows for easier visibility in low-light conditions. However, there are some concerns regarding the aesthetic mismatch between the new white lights of the switch and the orange hue of older dash lights, which has led a few users to rate it slightly lower than perfect. Nonetheless, the overall sentiment showcases the switch as a practical and reliable solution for 4WD issues, with its effective performance making it a recommended choice, despite a potentially higher price point compared to competitors. **
