- A monitor is usually most comfortable near eye level, while a keyboard is usually more comfortable closer to elbow height. When both sit on the same desktop, one may end up too high or too low. A basic keyboard drawer can clear desktop space, but its shallow movement range may still leave the keyboard almost level with the desk. KT2 is designed to create more separation. Its extended arm provides approximately 18 inches of total vertical movement, giving the monitor and keyboard room to sit at different working heights. On a height-adjustable desk, keep the screen higher while lowering the keyboard for sitting or standing. At a fixed-height desk, the tray can also rise above the desktop for occasional standing work. The keyboard panel adjusts from approximately 10 inches below to approximately 8 inches above desk height, tilts from -15° to +15°, swivels left and right, and slides under the desk when not in use. The separate mouse platform can be installed on either side, moved closer to or farther from the keyboard, and tilted independently so the mouse can remain level while the keyboard angle changes. A steel frame and compact-board panel provide stable support for up to 10 pounds. The approximately 19.5-inch rail screw-mounts beneath desktops more than 0.5 inch thick. Allow approximately 4.25 inches of under-desk clearance and check for crossbars or other obstructions before installation. The included KT Bridge helps the rail clear compatible standing-desk crossbars. Mounting hardware and instructions are included; tools are not included. Backed by a 1-year warranty.
