Nutritionist's Take
The LS&S Extra Large Button Talking Clock is primarily designed as an assistive device rather than a nutrition product, thus it does not directly offer nutritional benefits. Its large buttons and voice feature cater to individuals with visual impairments, promoting independence and ease of use. While it does not contain ingredients or nutritional claims per se, from a health perspective, it may contribute positively to overall wellness by encouraging routine and schedule management, ultimately supporting healthier lifestyle choices. However, potential drawbacks include the absence of features like medication reminders that could further enhance its utility for health management. It is suitable for various users, including seniors or individuals needing accessibility aids, but it may not address specific dietary needs or health conditions. In summary, while the clock itself does not provide nutritional benefits, it enables a healthier lifestyle through improved time management.
LSS Clocks & Watches Editorial Review
The LS&S Extra Large Button Talking Clock is a user-friendly and helpful device for individuals with visual impairments or those who have difficulty reading the time. It features a large blue button that announces the time and date when pressed. The clock also has an alarm function that can be set to go off daily, accompanied by a buzzer sound. Customers have found this clock to be very easy to use, particularly for elderly individuals. One customer mentioned that their 88-year-old mother, who has age-related macular degeneration, was thrilled with the clock and no longer had to ask others for the time or day. Another reviewer mentioned that they had multiple clocks placed around their house for convenience. The size of the clock is around 3 to 3.5 inches in diameter, making it compact and portable. The voice feature announces both AM and PM, providing clarity to the user regarding the time of day. Despite the generally positive feedback, there have been a few negative reviews. One customer reported that the clock stopped functioning correctly after only a couple of weeks of use, with the time, date, month, and year becoming garbled. They were disappointed with the quality of the product and expressed frustration with the customer service. In summary, the LS&S Extra Large Button Talking Clock is a reliable and easy-to-use device for individuals with visual impairments. It provides clear announcements of the time and date, making it convenient for those who struggle with traditional clocks.
